60!

Today my family is celebrating my grandparents 60th wedding anniversary! Can you say holy cow! They met on the train to Chicago. My grandpa was going to school, and my grandma was on her way to work. They were married on September 30, 1950. I just love these old pictures of them. I would just die if I could have seen what it was like to live  back then. Hello... Back To The Future! *wink wink*

Chicago Renegade

Now, I know I've been the wost  blogger lately. Its because I am at school Monday through Thursday and then have to work enough hours on the weekend. So it gives me zero time. Honestly I'm not use to it. I kinda hate it. I have so many penpals I want to right back and I just cant. Here are my pictures from Renegade. I had an amazing time. I think Mike had an even more amazing time. Boys are cute. I even saw Katie and Elsie but I was soo scared to say hi. Yes I'm pathetic! Anyways, I just wanted to say I miss you all and hope I cant get into a schedule so I can blog more.
with love,
Rebecca

Follow the yellow brick road..

Follow the yellow brick road... follow, follow, follow, follow..... follow the yellow brick road.....

Mike and I were out and about today and we came across the Couardly Loin. Then....  the Tinman. Then the Scarecrow....We had to get out of the car and take a look. It was the prettiest park ever. Except for this first picture, it was a little sad to see the graffiti. Today in Chicago was just beautiful. It was the perfect weather, sunny, and with a lovely breeze. OZ Park is just magical. There was these awesome statues and a amazing garden called Emerald Garden. Even yellow bricks! I cant wait to go back. I really would love to have a picnic there. *happy*
